Mission Statement

Developing a strong community by teaching baseball fundamentals and life skills; helping kids improve as players, work as a team, and grow as individuals.

Description

We are a nonprofit organization run solely by volunteers offering baseball on a recreational and competitive level. In the 2019 season approximately 400 kids played Northside and two of our All Star teams went to the Regional Cal Ripken World Series. The bonds the kids in Northside have formed with their teammates is irreplaceable. In 2020 we will also be offering softball which is lacking in Northern Albemarle. We support our league through the sales we make on concessions. Our concession stand is open whenever games are played which include week nights and on Saturdays from 9am-9pm and Sundays during tournaments. Without concession stands we cannot make field improvements, purchase equipment or pay umpires. We do require service hours for all our families, but we always need more help in the concession stand and will field maintenance.
