The mission of Tumaini DC, Inc. is to cultivate the next generation of socially responsible and culturally competent youth and adults through transformational social and emotional learning resources and experiences. We Envision a World Where Youth from Underserved Communities: ◦ Understand that their actions affect others and are empowered to impact individuals and society positively. ◦ Recognize the attitudes, skills, ad knowledge needed to navigate, contribute to, and flourish in the world. ◦ Possess empathy, agency, and global perspective to be leaders of their communities and beyond. ◦ Have access to highly structured leadership programming and opportunities that will prepare them to engage in transformative, international experiences.
