iTHRIVE, Inc. was founded by our President Fatmata Sankoh who daily thrives with Neuromyelitis Optica, a rare autoimmune disease that affects the optic nerves, spinal cord, and central nervous system. Ms. Sankoh is passionate about self-care, a lifestyle that has helped her cope with the challenges presented with autoimmune diseases. She is dedicated to helping others cultivate optimal wellness through self-care and likewise thrive personally and emotionally throughout their wellness journeys. iTHRIVE will curate a 21-week program, Project Self, which focuses primarily on identifying participants’ perspectives on self-care and wellness, areas to improve and desired outcomes to create a plan that is suited for their unique diagnoses and lifestyles. Outside of this program, iTHRIVE will host annual self-care retreats, self-care and wellness events, awareness walks and more activities related to self-care.
