Mission Statement

To provide abstinence based recovery services to alcoholics and other drug dependents through the Sobirety Maintainance Center and the Crisis Site. To operate comprehensive DWI programs for information, assessment, referrals and after care management. To provide outreach through the community. To develop other programs to deal with substance abuse. To advocate for the maintainance and restoration of state and federal funding programs to support substance abuse programs.

Description

Serenity Place offers in and outpatient treatment for alcohol and drug problems. Fulltime staff of 13 professionals. Bulk of funding comes from state of New Hampshire which funds 73% of cost of treatment. Balance comes from fund raisers, grants and gifts.
