Mission Statement

Each year we are faced with the huge task of procuring new hats, scarves, socks, underwear, pajamas, books, toiletries, blankets, stuffed animals, and toys for up to 2,200 children. It’s an amazing experience to watch the community rally to meet the needs of the kids and their families. Many of these families are homeless and most of them live in substandard living conditions. We wish for them to feel hope and love through our gift giving and show them what the power of a community can do.

Description

About Us

We serve all walks of life. Our children come from 16 low-income schools in the Edmonds School District. We serve a large immigrant population who speak over 38 languages including Spanish & Russian, and a growing Native American and foster care population. We serve boys and girls, from infants to 17 years old.

We are working hard to meet the needs of our children as more and more of these families turn to Holly House for help and support.

Holly House began in 2006 as a grassroots operation at a local food bank. From 260 low-income children the first year, Holly House now serves 2,200 low-income children (infant to 17 years old), in primarily 16 schools in the Edmonds School District, Washington.
