Mission Statement
Our mission is to advance vulnerable children and communities worldwide with sustainable education, life skills and fresh water.
Description
We provide free quality education and life skills training to disenfranchised and rural poor children and their families in developing countries. We currently serve in Cambodia, Guatemala, and India with specialized initiatives in U.S. cities. Additionally, we assist with fresh water technology and medical/hygiene services because we have found them to be essential to delivering an education to children -- healthy children go to school. Funds are used for paying teacher salaries, buying books and school supplies, maintaining buildings and equipment, and more. KCF also purchases and installs wells and water purification systems. Details on specific projects and current activities can be found on the KCF web site.
