Arts & Education 4 DFW Youths is a life-enriching program established to provide disadvantaged and at-risk youths with the opportunity to experience live-stage performing Arts’ productions, educational programs on University & College Campuses, and at the 5-major Museums, at Partner inspired Activities, coupled with a supplemental academic program that will enhance the reading capabilities of students-in-need!
We want to get area youths into Readers’ Theater - a highly motivational approach for involving students in reading, writing, listening, and speaking activities. We just completed a test of the system at a Boys & Girls Club, and were asked by the Branch Director to come back in January to formally set up two classes, 4-diffent age brackets.
Established October 2, 2010, we have facilitated the attendance of 6,492+ young people’s
attendance at a great variety of theatrical performances, a plethora of educational programs,
coupled with Partner inspired activities and events.
