Save Community Care Foundation (SCCF) is a non-profit making indigenous Non-Governmental Children, Young mothers, Disabled person, Women and Youth focused organization initiated and registered with National Bureau for Non-Governmental Organizations in Uganda in the Ministry of Internal Affair on 28 th August-2015 with the main goal to reduce the vulnerability of moderately and critically disadvantaged children, Youth, Women and their households in Kaliro district and Uganda at large.
SCCF is improving rural community livelihoods through development oriented programs attained by strengthening referrals, networking, collaboration and coordination with stakeholders at district, community and household level with integrated activities of WASH, family economic employment, child/orphan, Education support, SRHR, HIV/AIDS &TB, Vocational training to enable employment creation, sustainable energy solutions, human rights, food security and gender equality advocacy for Young mothers.
SCCF is working in Kaliro Town Council, Namugongo, Bumanya, Namwiwa, Gadumire and Nawaikoke sub-counties to offer community-led interventions and partnership with CDOs, CBOs/community groups (Young mother groups, Disabled groups and youth groups) and other key stakeholder leaders in rural poor communities in Kaliro district and other neighboring district of Busoga sub-region in Eastern Uganda.
