Mission Statement

The mission of The Creative and Performing Arts of South County is to offer affordable, quality arts education and professional performances to Southern Anne Arundel County, Northern Calvert County, and parts of Prince George’s County, Maryland. Education in the arts includes Dance, Music, Visual, and Dramatic Arts. Our goal, artists and arts organizations working together to bring arts opportunities and performances to the community.

Description

The Creative and Performing Arts of South County is a young nonprofit that has building and growing since 2014. Since our inception we have grown to offer classes in ballet, music, theater, and visual arts. We are also a meeting place for our local Girl Scout Troop. In addition to classes and group gatherings we have also created and hosted several performances including our annual Exhibition of the Arts and Memories of the Green dinner theater.

Some of the local organizations that we work with include National Ballet Institute for the Arts, Wander Art Life, Barker Studios360, Captain Avery Museum, SoCoConnet Deale, and more.
