Mission Statement

Foundation 58 is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization, established in memory of Deputy Fire Chief Gabriel A. Mhley, dedicated to providing support services to first responders throughout the United States. Foundation 58 seeks to educate first responders about health risks caused by duty related exposures, provide equipment and programs to prevent risks, and assist first responders facing a health crisis due to exposure.

Description

We support first responders through 4 programs:
- Gabriel A. Mhley Financial Assistance Program has awarded over $150,000 to first responders who are battling cancer
- First Responder Cancer Prevention Porgram grants gear & equipment to first responder organizations to prevent cancer
- First Responder Education Program hosts workshops for first responder organizations to educate & raise awareness about the risks of cancer, PTSD, suicide, and drug & alcohol addiction
- Healthy Hydration Program grants pallets of bottled water to first responder organizations to ensure proper hydration at all times
