Mission Statement

To help overcome food insecurity by providing access to healthy food through cooking classes.

Description

So far this year, Peoria Grown has reached over 170 youth and adults through our cooking classes. We partner with HyVee Grocery Store and OSF Children’s Hospital, and we are members of the Ending Hunger Together grant by the Community’s foundation of Central Illinois.

We are looking for dietetic interns, registered dietitians, or medical professionals to conduct our classes in pairs.
