手把手 Hands-On Org. is established by an undergraduate student from Taiwan. We are waiting for passionate, eager for change volunteers to join!
Our plan is simple: To recruit Taiwanese and overseas undergraduates and graduates to volunteer for online tutoring for Taiwanese students with relatively difficult life situations, who have limited amounts of after-school time and relatively inflexible schedules. We believe that learning is a lifelong process, in which an adequate study plan, feedback, and materials are crucial to effective learning. We hope that resources can be shared so that the children who have been limited by the external restrictions can one day decide their future freely.
At the early stage, Hands-On Org. works as a team mainly made up of students and plans to establish government-registered non-profit foundation or association for operation in a more organized manner and to extend the impact. Taiwan is the starting point, and we look forward to future expansion!
Due to the crucial reality, many children have sparse resources to fulfill the benefits of learning even when they have the desire or potential for it. As the beneficiaries of education, we hope to share the resources and pass on the knowledge to let more and more children have the opportunities to strive for more possibilities of their lives.
