To achieve our goal, we are developing a web based programs to inspire children and their parents to eat and live a healthy lifestyle. We will do this by demonstrating in the form of an animated character, the influence different foods have on their health. The participant will be asked to create their own Avatar to model their progress as they chose its diet and exercise program.

The program will allow the participant, either child or parent, to create their own personal animated avatar and then let them try different diets and exercise programs for their avatar. The program will then simulate the results of the diet and exercise on the Avatar they created, by letting them fast forwarded, either weeks, months or years, to show the results of their diet and exercise program on the avatar. They then can go back and change the diet and exercise program for their personal avatar as many times as they wish.

We feel by offering a realistic example, one created by the participant, of visual changes in the avatar when diet and exercise adjust to a healthier level that the participant will be more motivated to improve their weight.
We will also offer interesting articles on how to support and guide children to eat healthy and exercise.
