The mission of the Wisconsin Association of Free & Charitable Clinics (WAFCC) is to support, strengthen, and advocate for the uniqueness of the Wisconsin free and charitable clinics, the patients they serve, and the communities with whom they partner.
The Wisconsin Association of Free and Charitable Clinics (WAFCC) formed in 2014 as a result of several of the state’s Free and Charitable Clinics (FCC's) coming together to recognize the need to evolve and redefine whom they serve in the changing healthcare landscape. FCC tells the story of Wisconsin's safety-net clinic, their communities, their patients, and their continued need. WAFCC is the only association supporting and representing ~100 free and charitable clinics across Wisconsin.
Each year our organization provides critical programming including year-round education opportunities, consulting services, state advocacy. WAFCC works to enhance the sustainability of new and existing free and charitable clinics by fostering collaboration, networking, partnerships, and share resources. We also cultivate growth in Wisconsin free and charitable clinic across all points, service lines and patients, especially in areas of high unmet need and educate the Wisconsin community about free and charitable clinics.
