Mission Statement

We want to give underprivileged youth and juvenile delinquents more positive options, choices and goals. Most of these young people are constantly influenced by gangs and potential criminal activities - negative/destructive options, choices and goals. We never want to impose anything on these young people. We want to always respectfully present our message, giving them hope for a better future. Essentially we want to say, "Here are some positive goals; we will be glad to help you in any way we can to achieve them; it's your choice." Many kids don't see the value of the alternatives that we have to offer. However, SOME DO , and we can help shape these kid's lives in a positive, productive way!

Description

Giving Adolescents New Goals, or G.A.N.G., offers Afterschool Tutoring and other activities such as Sports Camps, Art Camps and other themed activities to children and youth throughout the year. Our target is underprivileged kids and youth in neighborhoods who would otherwise not have access to these programs. Some activities are offered directly in the school kids attend, and others are offered in the neighborhoods where they live. The goal is to provide access so that kids do not have to be transported, thus eliminating the obstacle of extra transportation and also allowing for the added building of relationship with families in our target neighborhood.
