The Children's Toy and Doll Museum preserves playthings that have served to teach, amuse, and expand the imagination of children locally and throughout the greater world at large.
The Children's Toy and Doll Museum of Marietta, OH serves as a repository for children's playthings, not limited to those of yesteryear. The Museum makes appealing, educational and motivational displays of its collection for the benefit of the general public. We provide a stage for displaying private collections and traveling exhibits of toys and dolls. We are proactive in our acquisiton and avoid stagnation in both our presentation and future growth. The Museum is a chartered nonprofit corporation of Ohio and sustains itself through entrance fees, memberships, fundraisers, gifts, grants, and endowment. It's Board of Directors and docents are volunteers.
