No request is too small, and no health need is too large for our specialized staff. Hospice of the West proudly serves Maricopa County, Arizona. Hospice of the West is looking for certified reiki master volunteers. You will have the opportunity to create a true impact with individuals who are underneath our care. To ensure we continue to do what is right for the patient and community, Hospice of the West requires a drug and background screening and recent TB test. Furthermore, Hospice of the West will require all volunteers to complete onboarding modules.

The clinical team will call in these volunteers when they perceive that a patient is in the process of actively dying. Often these calls come when a patient has no family caregivers, though at times the families themselves request the additional support. This is truly a special opportunity to share and honor the final moments of a patient's life. Hospice of the West was founded in 2010 with the mission to provide quality of life at the end of life.
