ArtsQuest (formerly Bethlehem Musikfest Association)

Description

ArtQuest's purpose is to entertain and educate a diverse community and to promote the quality of life, tourism, and economic development in the Lehigh Valley. Each August it presents Musikfest, a ten-day music festival in Bethlehem, featuring a variety of music from noon to 11:00 p.m. at 14 indoor and outdoor stages, which brings over one million visitors to the community. On weekends between Thanksgiving and Christmas, it presents Christkindlmarkt, a family holiday market featuring juried crafts, entertainment, and activities for children. Proceeds from Musikfest and Christkindlmarkt support the arts and cultural programs of the Banana Factory, home to 23 visual artists, gallery, gift shop, Pennsylvania Youth Theatre, and the Bethlehem Area VoTech media arts program.
