Mission Statement

The Gullah Geechee Initiative Foundation, Inc. (GGIF) is a nonprofit organization that provides athletic, cultural, and academic service to youth who are indigenous to The Gullah Geechee Heritage Corridor, preparing them for community services and a life of excellence. Our programs foster knowledge of self and preventing youth from engaging in juvenile delinquency and performing poorly academically.

Description

The Gullah Geechee Initiative Foundation, Inc. (GGIF) is organized as nonprofit: funded, exclusively for charitable and educational purposes, more specifically, to address the lack of opportunities; provide services and programs to the indigenous people of The Gullah Geechee Heritage Corridor. Our Curriculum ensures that the youth can reach their full potential, regardless of the circumstances in which they are born by giving them choices beyond the gang violence, drug, and crime through; advocacy, education, resources, training and development and sports.
