OYSTER BAY CHARITABLE FUND

A project of the Rotary Club of Oyster Bay, the Oyster Bay Charitable Fund (OBCF) is the organizer of the Oyster Festival in Oyster Bay. The Festival is designed as a fund raiser where over two dozen local charities raise money through food booths in our food court. The charities are charged a nominal participation fee, however, the OBCF takes responsibility to put together the massive infrastructure required bye the Festival. Corporate sponsors and other participation fees help mitigate this cost. The Rotary also runs food booths, however, any proceeds from the Festival are donated to local charities. Because this is a massive undertaking, we are always in need of good, responsible volunteers to help in some of the booths, help visitors find their way around, assist in various activities we have and other roles. We are a small club of less than twenty people with a motto of "service above self". The Festival this year is on Saturday October 19 and Sunday October 20th
