The mission of the Friends of the Cannonball House, Inc. is to educate,promote and develop an interest by the public in cultural, architectural and historical heritage of the community and to preserve and maintain properties of historical significance in the community, particularly that property known as The Cannonball House.

Description

The Cannonball House, built in 1853 by Judge Asa Holt was struck by a cannon ball during the Civil War. Today this historic antebellum house and museum hosts over 10,000 visitors annually.
