To gain expertise, build research capacity, and maintain libraries to support learning, understanding, and research in the industrial hemp & agriculture sector; To apply its research capacity to theoretical, practical, and applied research related to any problem amenable to illuminating study or solution by the corporation's expertise; To use its expertise in pursuit of providing independent, objective, authoritative, and accurate analysis, assessment, advice, guidance, and leadership on scientific, technical, business, and legal/regulatory matters; To discover, comprehend, and disseminate knowledge and understanding concerning the goals, methods, practices, and results of the hemp industry; to increase awareness and appreciation of said knowledge and understanding; and to encourage and facilitate the practical utility of said knowledge and understanding in industry, commerce, and community.

Description

The MINNESOTA HEMP FARMERS & MANUFACTURERS ASSOCIATION purpose is to advocate for industrial hemp farms, processors, manufacturers, and businesses licensed pursuant to federal & state law or intended to operate in compliance with federal & state law. We strive to promote and protect the farms and businesses in the hemp industry and for the protection of public health and patient’s rights, the preservation & restoration of natural resources and watersheds, and to provide for the welfare of communities and the mutual benefit of public and private interests.
