Mission Statement

Mission: We work to reduce Opiate Overdoses by training and providing resources for first responders and members of other key community sectors on carrying and administering Naloxone for emergency treatment of known or suspected opiate overdose. Our goal is to save lives from Opiate Overdose so that the person has a chance for recovery from Substance Abuse Disorder and may lead a productive life.

Description

Provide public education on 9-1-1 Good Samaritan and Naloxone Access Law so that the community understands the risks of overdose and embraces increased access to naloxone for opioid users and their families. Collaborate with health care providers to educate them on overdose dangers, and recommend that they consider providing resources to overdose victims and families.
