Mission Statement

The Michigan Green Consortium fosters the general knowledge of sustainable practices and promotes the application of sound environmental stewardship through educational workshops, seminars, monthly networking and community-wide events designed to raise awareness of green products, services and practices and that lessen the burden of government.

Description

MGC hosts a community-wide free recycle, repurpose and reuse event each year for residents of Northern Michigan to educate on wastestream management a to encrouage each resident to do his or her part towards a more sustainable future. The event is called Clean Up Green Up.
