Description

FIFABQ implements their mission statement through various tactics including:

  • Harvesting "forgotten foods" (backyard fruit trees, excess orchard and farm fruits and vegetables, etc.) and redistributing throughout our community
  • Designing and installing Albuquerque's first community food forest
  • Hosting events such as our annual spring Seed Share and fall Harvest Share
  • Partnering with local businesses to install front yard gardens for those who cannot do it themselves
