Mission Statement

Established in 1915, Diamond Head Theatre is the Broadway of the Pacific, producing the best live community theatre entertainment in Hawaii and advancing the theatre arts through education.

Description

Diamond Head Theatre is a true community center - from the actors on stage, to the musicians in the orchestra pit, to the backstage production crews; from the directors and designers to the volunteers who usher, tend the gardens, and sew our costumes - we've got great people who make Diamond Head Theatre a part of their lives. Each and every production is built with thousands of volunteer hours - even the actors and actresses are volunteers.

With year-round classes in dancing, acting, and singing; an extensive summer school for children and teens, and a youth performing troupe called the Shooting Stars, education is a big part of our mission.
