Volunteer Opportunity: Host a J-1 High School Exchange Student with Greenheart Exchange! About Us: Greenheart Exchange is dedicated to promoting cultural understanding, academic development, environmental consciousness, and world peace. Our programs aim to foster global citizenship and build bridges across cultures. Opportunity Description: We are seeking compassionate and open-minded volunteers to host J-1 high school exchange students for the upcoming school year. Hosting an exchange student is a rewarding experience that allows you to make a positive impact on a young person's life while learning about another culture. Responsibilities: Provide a welcoming and supportive home environment for a high school exchange student. Include the student as a member of your family and involve them in family activities. Offer a separate bed, three meals a day, and transportation to and from school (if needed). Serve as a mentor and guide, helping the student adjust to American culture and their new surroundings. Benefits: Experience a different culture firsthand without leaving home. Form a lifelong bond with a student from another country. Contribute to cultural understanding and global peace.
