Description
Lacey Activities Coalition for Teens (ACT) Lacey Activities Coalition for Teens (ACT) nights provide 6th, 7th, and 8th grade students in the North Thurston Public Schools district safe and fun activities on one to two Friday evenings per month, rotating among Chinook, Komachin, Salish, and Nisqually Middle Schools. About 600 students attend each event. Approximately 200 adults and 30 teens assist with ACT events throughout the school year.
The goal of the program is to provide a variety of activities that will meet the interests of most teens. Activities include dancing, listening to music, contests, 3-on-3 basketball, video games, karaoke, free snacks, inflatable interactive games and special guest performances.
