Mission Statement

Anchor Recovery Community Centers offer a supportive environment for individuals in all stages of recovery. We strive to build the bridge to recovery in our centers, emergency rooms, and out in the community.

Description

In 2010 Anchor was founded by Jim Gillen and The Providence Center. It was simply a program that allowed people who were seeking recovery from alcohol and drugs to be with other like-minded individuals in a safe environment. No stigma, no judgment....A place where those who did not feel comfortable in the basement of a church or the main floor of the church. A place not clinical in nature, not treatment and not detox. A place where they could talk freely with other recovering people outwardly. A place where they could get additional support. Nine years later, Anchor provides that and more.
