Hospice volunteers provide all kinds of support for patients and their families, including visiting, reading, watching T.V., taking walks, playing music or taking care of pets. Volunteers also help with shopping, errands, and minor household chores. They can help with bereavement support, get involved in administrative support by helping in the office, creating care packages, or even scrap booking! What a hospice volunteer does depends on their skills and interests. If you would like to find out more about what it takes to make a difference through hospice, call 541-844-0151 or e-mail catherine.amber@bristolhospice.com
