We are an NGO in Vietnam and have a mission to connect people with locals in need in Vietnam.
WHAT WE DO
We place volunteers to assist at social support centers, children homes and disadvantaged schools in Vietnam.
HISTORY, GOALS AND ACHIEVEMENT
Volunteer Vietnam was founded in 2004 by Mr Viet Dang who is a volunteer teacher. Viet believes that volunteering makes a great impact on the lives of people who need help and volunteers themselves.
Our goals are to improve the quality of life for the abandoned children, disabled and homeless people and to run an ethical volunteer program which gives a rewarding experience to everyone who are involved in it.
Since 2004, we have been placing around 1,800 international volunteers in Vietnam. Our operation gives support around 1,000 disadvantages in Vietnam.
WHY WE NEED VOLUNTEERS We operate to support the social support centers, children homes and disadvantages schools in Vietnam. The centers and schools are for abandoned children, disabled and homeless people. Due to the limited funding and resource, they have been still going without enough supplies and manpower. The centers do not have enough care-givers and the schools do not have enough teachers for their program. Volunteers can come and help hands and share knowledge to improve the situation. Volunteers do not need any special skills to volunteer with us. Whatever you could contribute we would appreciate it very much.
