Description

Mills-Peninsula Medical Center is a not-for-profit healthcare organization affiliated with Sutter Health. The hospital provides compassionate care, state-of-the-art care to residents of San Mateo County. Volunteers play a vital role in supporting our patients, guests and staff.

Mills-Peninsula is a 241 bed facility located on two sites; the acute care facility in Burlingame and the out-patient facility in San Mateo. We offer 24-hour emergency care, a beautiful birthing facility, medical-surgical units and intensive care facilities. Volunteers, aged 14 to 96, have participated in the care of our patients since our doors opened. Mills-Peninsula has a long-standing tradition of community health since its inception in 1908. Volunteers provide the extra warm touch our patients and families need when seeking care at our organization.
