Mission Statement

MISSION • Nourish deprived, excluded and vulnerable children to develop the capacity to improve their lives and the opportunity to become young adults, parents and leaders who bring lasting and positive change in their communities. • Support communities whose individuals and institutions participate in valuing, protecting and advancing the worth and rights of children. • Enrich our patrons’ lives through their support of our cause and the betterment of their communities.

Description

Tomorrow’s Promise Early Childhood Development programs partner with local & regional pre-school programs, after-school programs, healthcare agencies, and social services agencies to ensure that the youngest children start their lives in the conditions they need to support their psycho-social development and, in turn, develop at their full potential from the beginning.

Since 2014, we have provided 200+ need-based scholarships to children for primary and secondary private school tuition assistance. In 2017 we expanded our scholarship program and since then, have provided 37 undergraduate need-based scholarships for students. Aside from making it easier for children to attend school and succeed there, Tomorrow’s Promise and our local partners educate families about saving money, life-skills training, early childhood development and other important issues.

Tomorrow’s Promise supports community-based health care to address children’s needs from infancy to young adulthood plus prenatal care and maternal health. By providing funding and client-referral support to locally based health centers, free clinics, mobile medical units, and free annual wellness checkups, we have been able to address emergency medical needs and stabilize clients’ longer-term health regimens and maintenance programs. Through these efforts, Tomorrow’s Promise makes healthcare accessible to more children and their family
