Mission Statement

WE EMPOWER ENTREPRENEURS We purchase handmade products from women entrepreneurs to provide them with a steady source of income. We specifically look to empower women who are trying to create a better life for themselves by providing them with a reliable stream of revenue and promoting their self-reliance with every product purchased. WE EMPOWER STUDENTS We donate all profits to support the schools with structural repairs and education initiatives, such as roof repairs and English language classes. Our project aims to combat educational inequality by working with Centro de Educacion Basica Manuel Bonilla located in Olancho, Honduras.

Description

Empowering Entrepreneurs
We specifically look to empower women who are trying to create a better life for themselves by providing them with a reliable stream of revenue and promoting their self-reliance with every product purchased. We talk to them to try to understand their needs and how we can help them. Our latest effort resulted in teaching a group of women how to screenprint, this skill will allow them to start their own business. We also make sure that all products are bought at a fair price.

Empowering Students
Our project aims to combat this inequality by working with Centro de Educacion Basica Manuel Bonilla located in Olancho, Honduras. Thanks to you we have rebuilt their roof and it is no longer in danger of falling. Now we are working to provide the students with private school quality English lessons without the private school tuition. English will be a new tool to broaden students’ education and provide them with more opportunities to have a successful and fulfilling life.
