Description
PRINDIE was developed out of a love for film and exists to support independent filmmakers and the stories they tell. As an organization, we believe that film is one of, if not the most, powerful and effective tool for communicating and bringing people closer together; doing so through carefully crafted stories that often speak to us in the similarities we all keep. We seek to be a platform for these voices in several different ways including showcasing today’s top indie filmmakers (both known and unknown) at our annual festival and working with the filmmakers we showcase to determine how we can best leave our audiences both inspired and poised for action - putting the impactful medium of film at the forefront of change that is good for the planet and good for its people. And this is truly what makes PRINDIE stand out - that not only do we focus on education at every entry point possible, we aim to equip our audience and our filmmakers with the tools they need to go out into the world and make a difference.
This year we anticipate hosting 500 attendees and growing our sponsorship base for the festival, something we plan on growing exponentially over the next few years.
