"We believe that all people in our community deserve high quality healthcare services that enhance their well being in body, mind and spirit. We believe that the Sisters of Mercy, through their mission at St. John’s Regional Medical Center and St. John’s Pleasant Valley Hospital, provide the most effective delivery of healthcare services. The Foundation supports St. John’s mission by raising funds for the hospitals’ benefit and by promoting the values of Dignity Health and the Sisters of Mercy in the community."

Description

St. John’s established its Foundation in 1985 to provide philanthropic support for building projects, equipment, and patient care services. The generosity and vision of our donors generate the resources we need to provide the highest quality medical care to all in need, regardless of their ability to pay.

The Foundation staff works closely with the Foundation Board of Directors to oversee a comprehensive fund development program, which incorporates; campaign outreach, special events, private Foundation and Corporate Grants along with individual giving and planned gifts.
