Mission Statement

Mustang Promise is a sanctuary bringing people and horses together. Those who can't afford traditional lessons, programs and therapy can come to us to learn about horses, experience therapy and learn basic horsemanship skills. Rescued horses can now rescue people and teach them essential life skills.

Description

We recognize that most programs are cost prohibitive for many families. The horses in sanctuary are fully capable of working on some level. Many horses are sound for riding and can teach beginners how to ride horseback, all are capable of ground and in-hand therapy. Others desire to learn how to work with and train horses, we have plenty capable of that. Our goal is to enable the horses to teach others about: responsibility, empathy, compassion, leadership, courage, teamwork and determination to build successful people.
