SOMEBODY LOVES ME

Description

Somebody Loves Me, Inc. is a 501 (c)3, nonprofit organization dedicated to help those less fortunate in Northeast Tennessee. We have two major programs: Clothing Our Children - we provide shoes and clothing to school-age (preschool through high school) children who are referred to us by schools, Head Start, and other community organizations and Christmas for Our Children - we provide Christmas Gifts to underprivileged children who are referred to us. We also provide families in need with household items that we receive through community donations.

All of our members are unpaid volunteers and we rely on annual fundraisers and community support to provide our program and services. Our expenses are less than 5% and at least 95% of all funding we receive goes towards providing services.

Each year, we serve over 500 children in the eight counties of Northeast Tennessee (Carter, Greene, Hancock, Hawkins, Johnson, Sullivan, Unicoi and Washington). Last year we also provided over 300 families with needed items ranging from microwaves to mattresses.

We believe in working with other organizations to help fight poverty in our region and are dedicated to doing our part. We understand how valuable time is and appreciate our volunteers for donating their time, talents, and energy to help those less fortunate. Together, we are changing lives in Northeast Tennessee!
