Our mission is to enhance the lives of animals in the care of Collin County Animal Services as well as promote responsible pet ownership in our community through the dedicated efforts of our volunteers. We strive to create a compassionate and nurturing environment where positive relationships are built with fellow volunteers, staff, potential adopters and fosters. As volunteers, we are committed to providing essential support, care, and love to the animals in our care as well as engaging the community in our mission to advocate for responsible animal sheltering. Together with staff, we work tirelessly to increase the positive outcomes for pets and ensure a brighter future for all animals in Collin County.

Description

Collin County Animal Services shelters all lost/stray pets from Farmersville, Frisco and McKinney. Each of these cities provide their own animal control service s. Please contact your city directly for animal control service information and requests.

Collin County Animal Services performs all animal control duties as well as sheltering all lost/stray pets from all unincorporated areas of Collin County, and the cities of Anna, Celina, Fairview, Lavon, Lucas, Melissa, Nevada, New Hope, Princeton, Blue Ridge, and Prosper.

My husband and I visited the Collin County shelter several times looking for a small older dog to include in our family. The staff and volunteers were helpful, courteous and organized. I would like to volunteer my time to help this facility. Thank you for this opportunity.
