I have a few different opportunities at the boxing gym. First is you do not need to know anything about boxing. Just the heart to impact others and the willingness to learn about boxing. Boxing sessions are Monday through Friday from 6 pm to 7 pm for beginners and 7 pm to 8:30 pm for advanced boxers You can come anytime for an hour. Volunteer Coach- someone that may have a fitness background, but more importantly someone that wants to help others get better at boxing. That maybe motivating and talking with the youth as they jump rope. Holding bags and encouraging boxers not give up. And learning fundamentals of boxing. We will teach as much as you want to learn. Get to know the boxers and help them through mentorship.

These opportunities can be available locally, statewide or nationally and may have award sizes of hundreds or thousands of dollars. This opportunity will assist the President & CEO of Legacy Boxing Gym with meeting scheduling, calendar management, event planning and other activities. We are a small local boxing gym in Lake Dallas and this role will be crucial to our ability to grow our membership and our donor contributions. You will be working closely with the President & CEO to manage his calendar, identify growth and donor opportunities, and plan events (including board meetings) designed to support the mission and vision of the organization. Previous non-profit/fundraising support experience highly desired.

Description
Launched as a small business out of his garage, Rich Lox missed boxing and felt a higher calling to get back into the sport and he wanted to give back to the youth in his communities. Boxing had made such an impact on his life and helped him face some of life’s struggles that he wanted to pass along the values he learned from to the youth in our community. So, like many of the dedicated coaches in the sport, he opened up a gym in his garage and started coaching and mentoring boxers. To date, he has worked with over 100 boxers over the years, serving them both in and out of the ring. The impact on the communities he serves is immeasurable.
