Mission Statement

We raise funds to supplement and support reading programs for children and young adults at the Rialto Library. All funds raised are used only for this purpose. Our yearly fund raising efforts are primarily used for the Summer Reading program.

Description

Friends of the Rialto Library is a non-profit organization that helps to support the library by raising funds for materials, equipment and programs. Our primary fundraising consists of having a used book store in the library that is maintained by volunteers and our monthly bag sales. We contributed over $4500 this year toward the Summer Reading Program. The library was able to provide a variety of performers and activities to promote reading in our community during the months of June and July. Our volunteers sort and prepare book donations for sale. We are always looking for new volunteers to join our group and help us continue contributing to our community.
