Mission Statement

Lasserre’s Own Hands was created to improve the lives of all the children in Lasserre. By providing educational opportunities, food and literacy programs in a village where there is no school, the group promotes community solidarity and engagement, centered at the children.

Description

Lasserre's Own Hands has been operating since 2015. When we first opened the school, we only had 40 students and are now expecting to kickoff the 2019 year with 250-300 students. With such amazing growth, we are hoping to meet organizations who can help us keep our school and kids off the street for a brighter future.
