Mission Statement

The mission of the National School Improvement Alliance is to engage students in 1st-8th Grade in a series of motivational math events that will pique their interest and build a boldness and confidence that will help improve math achievement across the country. Our organization serves students in public, private, charter, and home school programs by combining motivation, music, competitive techniques, current math standards, math prep, and community stakeholders. It is the largest motivational math extravaganza on earth!

Description

The National School Improvement was created by Dr. Ron K. Boykins, an educator who developed the initiative as a way to increase math achievement for his elementary students. This program has served over 50,000 students in 12 states across the country. Our goal is to expand to all 50 states while reaching over one million students in the next 5 years. We bring the fun and excitement to math as students develop life-long skill building. Unlike other competitions that limit to the best and brightest, NSIA has created a program that allows for a much broader participation and advancement. Our events include all students regardless of their math skill level. We move student along the continuum of math excellence while reinforcing the work begin done in the classroom.
