1Vision Charter was founded by three mothers and educators with a passion for children and education. Children today are confronted with various challenges which impact their academic abilities. Overwhelming research indicates that there is a need for schools to address the social and emotional needs of students. 1Vision Charter recognizes the need for a change in the culture of education.
Our organization, proposes a K-8 public charter school that will focus on the needs of the "whole child", ensuring all students reach their full potential. 1Vision charter school will offer an educational program grounded on the principles of Mindful based Social Emotional Learning that will create a culture of opportunity and self-discovery in which learners cultivate the ingenuity and courage to impact a global society.
