Mission Statement

Crowned 4 Glory mission is to provide a hair care service to children in hardship situations such as foster care, group homes, homeless shelters low income households, children of incarcerated parents and those that have been adopted into multicultural environments. We want to build self confidence while staying connected to their culture.

Description

Crowned 4 Glory was founded by Nadine Horton who always had a love for braiding and and a love for children. She decided to unite both of her passions and work with the youth that are currently living in hardship situations as well as the children that have been adopted by multicultural families. This way she can work on building a child’s self esteem by both providing them with affordable beautiful hair styles and establish other resources that can be helpful to a child’s life such as mentoring programs, peer group meetings on anti bullying, peer pressure etc, Arts and Crafts, Double Dutch exercise, financial training early and Summer Day camp programs. There will also be training classes for the Parents and/or care givers and several fun filled events.
