Mission Statement

So Cal Mini Horse Sanctuary is a non-profit miniature horse organization. 100% of the donations go directly towards the rescue, care and rehabilitation of neglected and abused minis. We strive to provide safety, care and hope to these beautiful animals with the goal of finding them loving homes.

Description

So Cal Mini Horse Sanctuary began as a private family venture a decade ago by Jeanne Oliver. At any one time the sanctuary is home to upwards of 60 minis, all rescued from abuse and neglect. Along with Jeanne, the volunteers work tirelessly to rehabilitate those that can overcome their sad history with humans. It is a lot of work, but their is so much joy when a mini is ready for adoption and finds just the perfect forever home. There is fun involved too, we have walked in the Rose Parade for two years, yes with a mini and have fund raisers about every three months where we meet a lot of nice people and future volunteers and adopters.
