Mission Statement

The purposes of the Corporation are to strengthen the community by serving the needs of abused, neglected, and at-risk children and young adults in the Metropolitan Washington, DC area and in other jurisdictions as approved by the Board of Directors, by providing a combination of effective and appropriate professional social services including, but not limited to, theraputic prevention, early intervention, child placement, group and independent living, on-site and off-site counseling, professional referrals, and restorative services, all of which, as approved by the board of directors, will be performed in accordance with all pertinent statutes and regulations, as well as the operating and ethical standards of appropriate accrediting and other professional bodies, and any other purpose or act not expressly prohibited by law.
