Mission Statement

We are committed to providing a safe environment for students and promoting the involvement of family and community in the education of our children, focusing on whole child development. Arthur A. Libby ensures student achievement through instructional best practices. Students will learn in accordance to CCSS using current assessment data to inform instruction.

Description

Arthur A. Libby is a neighborhood school that services 350+ students. Our school is 70% African American and 30% Hispanic. We believe in exposing our students to a variety of things so that they can decide what their interests are. We want to ensure that the physical environment of the school is welcoming to all of our students. We also want all students to thrive academically so we offer several before and after school programs to ensure that we achieve that goal.
