Miss Caribbean US Beauty Pageant Mission Statement: To promote a positive image of the Caribbean, we teach and encourage young women to develop a proud awareness of the rich arts, culture and diversity of their native islands. To offer the opportunity to develop personal growth and leadership skills, we financially assist the contestants in their education, and personal development to achieve confidence, poise, grace and self esteem to a level where they can challenge themselves to achieve these goals with diligence, intelligence, and style. To foster unity among all Caribbean nations, Miss Caribbean US Beauty Pageant works diligently to ensure that contestants highlight the diversity of the Caribbean and at the same time propagate the unity that is necessary for the development of a vibrant Caribbean community. To give contestants the opportunity to advocate a cause dear to their heart where they can give back to their communities in the United States and abroad.
Miss Caribbean U.S. is a nonprofit organization with a 501c3 status (any donation will be tax deductible). The pageant founded by Yolanda Wallace in 2000 and became a nonprofit organization 2011. The Miss Caribbean U.S. is not just a pageantry. Our goals are to generate fund to help students by having many fundraising events to assist not only Caribbean students but students in our community with college expense and to to create many opportunities for young men and young women.
At the Miss Caribbean U.S. organization our staff and contestants create long life friends and continue to grow.
The exposure is unlimited, and the fact that we are all from different of the cultures, we each have something different to share, which will open your eyes to many things.
Miss Caribbean U.S. helps to turn our young ladies and young men into more rounded individuals by giving them more confidence, and teaching them better time management.
I recommend that every girl who wants to be Miss Caribbean U.S. and any one willing to learn about other cultures or gaining experience should take the opportunity and go for it. You have everything to gain and nothing to lose. It will make you achieve things that you doubt you can. It is not just a beauty pageant; you are an ambassador for your country, community, and a voice for the youths.
