Working to provide empowerment opportunities to young ladies and young men in the community, who are charity driven, with a passion to proudly represent the arts and culture of their countries including the United States, and to become positive role models in society.
The Miss Caribbean US Beauty Pageant was founded by Yolanda Wallace in 2000. It is becoming a household name in America, and throughout the Caribbean, as we continue to grow, working to provide empowerment opportunities to young ladies and young men in the community, who are charity driven, with a passion to proudly represent the arts and culture of their countries including the United States, and to become positive role models in society.
The pageant is a fundraiser that assists young ladies in pursuing their educational goals with scholarships and grants. Currently, our winner visits neighborhood schools to talk to children about the importance of education and non-violence.
Also, we are launching a music instruction program that will teach young men and women to play steelpan drums. This will promote the talents of teens and provide the necessary equipment to help them achieve the skills of team players, creativity, and discipline. The students will be able to utilize their time intermingling with each other in a programmed and monitored manner. Our programs are aimed at members of an underserved community.
