Mission Statement

The Goodman Emotion & Resilience Lab was founded in August 2019 at the University of South Florida. The lab's mission is to better understand what helps people be resilient to adversity and understand how people manage their emotions and live meaningful, fulfilling lives. Our research includes topics like social interactions, well-being, stress, and emotions. We strive to conduct research that has the potential to improve people’s live.

Description

Our lab conducts research on social anxiety, emotion, and well-being under the supervision of Dr. Fallon Goodman. Much of our work uses smartphone-based monitoring technologies to capture daily experiences as they unfold in real time.
